Carol has an extensive background in business development and management, in both private and non-profit profit sectors. Ms Hoge brings the best of classic and contemporary business theory and practice to life, while compelling and facilitating the participation of high quality, energized, and excited contributors. Her business contributions to the arts include tenure as the Executive Director of the Folsom Lake Symphony in California, where Hoge redeveloped the organization to deliver program excellence while being highly visible, state of the art, and sustainable. The result was filled to capacity audiences while other regional performing groups experienced a forty percent or more decline in audience. Ms. Hoge currently serves on the board of directors for the Cyrus Foundation, Roseville JazzFest, and as consultant to the Folsom Lake Symphony.
